Rare, unusual secretary, in two parts, solid yew wood, the upper section with mirrored double doors enclosing an interior fitted with eight drawers, the lower part having four drawers of which the top one is fitted with a desk compartment. The  gilt crest on top, centered by an angel, together with the gilt decoration around the mirrored doors and edges of drawers contrast beautifully with the rich deep color and patina of the yew wood and result in a understated, very rich look.
