French Henry II Carved Walnut Dressoir, school of Jacques Androuet du Cerceau, 16th century

Extraordinary tall Dressoir in three parts, school of Jacques Androuet du Cerceau (1510 – 1584). The middle part with a two-door cabinet, adorned with three prominent term figures, above one slim drawer,  supported be massive columns, open base. The cabinet still retains its spectacular, tall crest, which is very rare as most renaissance cabinets have lost theirs over time.
