French Late 14th Century Walnut Coffer featuring nine Relief-Carved Knights Bearing Arms and Armor

Exceedingly Rare Late 14th Century Coffer Front carved in relief featuring nine knights bearing arms and armor within gothic architectural tracery arcades. The Coffer-front has been fitted into a later custom made Lift-Top Chest of simple form and plain top, the sides having stylistically conforming linenfold panels.
