An Northern Italian late Gothic Cassone or Coffer of rectangular, linear form with lift top, opening to a plain interior. Moldings and geometrically inlaid borders are framing side and front panels, the left and right front panels featuring charming inlaid architectural scenes, the middle panel a coat of arms. The three panels are separated by Gothic tracery work. Conforming geometric borders also adorn the top.
