Italian late 17th Century Baroque Mahogany Veneered and Inlaid Desk
A very unusual and rare Italian desk, late 17th century, Mahogany Veneer and Inlaid with various Woods. The smooth oval top, inlaid with intricate borders over a barrel-form convex body containing five drawers and a slide-out shelf with a leather writing surface, on four cabriole legs of angular form.
